Terms of Service
Last updated: October 30, 2026
Agreement
By installing CRX Starter or using crxstarter.com you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use them.
What CRX Starter does
CRX Starter lets you run Chrome extension packages you supply — from a file or a link — inside the CRX Starter extension. It is free.
Your packages, your responsibility
You choose which packages to install. You're responsible for having the right to use them and for deciding whether to trust them. CRX Starter shows a package's permissions but does not review, verify or endorse any package, and we're not responsible for what a package does.
Acceptable use
Don't use CRX Starter to run software you aren't allowed to run, to get around restrictions your employer or school has set on a managed device, to distribute malware, or to break any law.
For people sharing install links
If you link to crxstarter.com/add, you're responsible for the package you link to, and you must not suggest that we made, reviewed or endorse it.
No warranty
CRX Starter and crxstarter.com are provided "as is". Some packages won't run, or won't run completely, inside CRX Starter. We don't guarantee it will work with any particular package.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss caused by a package you chose to install.
Changes and termination
We may change or discontinue CRX Starter or these terms. If the terms change in a meaningful way, we'll update this page. You can stop using CRX Starter at any time by removing it from Chrome.
Trademarks
Chrome and Chrome Web Store are trademarks of Google LLC. CRX Starter is not affiliated with Google.
